PAI installed in-store technology as part of a new brand concept for HSBC’s Premier Centre in Mayfair, London.
To attract the public’s attention from outside, the client required a large ticker tape LED display to run across the full width of the bank’s façade. PAI integrated a 7600mm wide full colour double line information board with back-to-back display, flown from the ceiling.
The high brightness system, used to carry the ‘Are you where you want to be?’ brand message, was supplied complete with handheld keyboard software, whilst display modes included jump, vertical up and down, wipe, freeze, flash, random and panel functions. The client was also provided with the ability to tailor character sets, with normal, bold, upper and lower case options available.
An LED changeable communication arrival wall also greeted customers upon entry. Programmed and calibrated in-house at PAI’s workshops, this comprised of six 42” bezel-less plasma screens arranged in a 2x3 framed formation with built in control computer and software. Standing at 3000mm high and 1200mm wide, the media wall displayed the client’s own content, including images and climate information for global destinations, further emphasising the ‘Are you where you want to be?’ message.
