Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies invest in AV

PAI has completed the integration of audio-visual and multimedia display technology at Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies’ offices in Port Talbot.

Following major investment, consolidation of its three sites to create one central hub, and the creation of 60 jobs, the industrial components manufacturer required a range of equipment throughout their refurbished centre at Baglan Industrial Park.

The manufacturing centre now contains new office accommodation as well as research and development facilities, whilst additional CNC machinery and R&D equipment have also been installed.

In the Reception a 60” Sharp LED TV has been fitted, displaying company and product information to visitors. Further models have been installed throughout a number of meeting rooms and directors’ offices, with Logitech HD Pro Webcams, floorbox connection points and dedicated cabling infrastructure included throughout these spaces.

The Boardroom received a multimedia projection and surround sound system comprising of a 5000 lumen ceiling mounted projector, 3m retractable electric screen in 16:9 format, recessed ceiling speakers and slave audio amplifiers. An induction loop amplifier with recessed ceiling microphone was also fitted, with a feed from the AV system provided.

In the Training Room identical induction loop and multimedia projection systems were installed for presentation purposes. An AV lectern, sound system, plus radio and lapel microphones have provided staff and presenters with a number of practical solutions.

PAI’s works package also included the installation of public address, background music, disabled refuge and induction loop systems across the site.

For the public address and background music, a five-zone TOA VM2400 was used to extend the system to the shop floor and associated areas. Crisp and clear audio has been provided through the use of a range of TOA PE304 suspension loudspeakers and CS4 projection horn loudspeakers, plus RCF PL60s.

Baldwin Boxall equipment was supplied to deliver disabled refuge solutions in line with BS 5839-9.
