PAI has equipped St Brides Spa Hotel in Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire with new audio-visual and sound systems in one of its key meeting spaces.
The ‘Sun Room’ is located on the hotel’s ground floor, providing easy access from the car park and reception area. It can cater for up to 60 delegates when set up in a Theatre style, or up to 30 in a Boardroom arrangement.
PAI specified and installed a ceiling mounted Panasonic 3700 ANSI lumens, WXGA projector along with a 2340x1462mm (16:10 format) recessed electric screen.
Control is provided via an easy-to-use wall mounted control switch positioned locally.
We were also responsible for all cabling infrastructure back to a central rack, which sits in a discrete store cupboard out of sight. This includes HDMI and VGA over CAT6, as well as a HDMI/VGA/Audio input point for connection of laptops, tablets and BYOD items.
For sound reinforcement, our team installed eight full range recessed ceiling loudspeakers, with structured cabling allowing audio from the content being shown on the projection screen to be heard via these.
The meeting room also benefits from a Cloud LM-1 microphone line, music input and control point plus changeover switch, whilst in the nearby Restaurant our team fitted a RSL-6 remote music source select and level control.
